Michael R. Thompson
Founder & Principal Architect
Michael Thompson founded INSIMIND LLC after 12 years of combined military service and federal contracting experience. A U.S. Army veteran with a service-connected disability, Michael built the firm specifically to serve the agencies and missions he spent his career supporting.
Before INSIMIND, Michael led data architecture initiatives at several large federal systems integrators, where he designed data platforms for agencies including the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Department of Labor, and multiple state health departments. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science and multiple Azure cloud certifications.
INSIMIND was founded on a simple premise: government agencies deserve the same quality of data architecture that Fortune 500 companies get — delivered by a team that understands the constraints, compliance requirements, and culture of public sector work from the inside.
